The Legend of the Poinsettia

This year our youth and children will be putting on a Christmas Pageant about a Mexican Christmas story, The Legend of the Poinsettia. The story of Jesus tells us that all things given with love are received with joy and gratitude, whether you are rich or poor, no matter who you are or where you come from. This story tells us about Maria, who wants to give a gift to the baby Jesus on Christmas even though she doesn't have any money to do so. She gives a meagre gift with love, and something amazing happens!

Our youth and children have been working around the clock to prepare this play for us, even composing an original song! We're looking forward to seeing it.
