Interested in Confirmation?

What is confirmation?  If you were baptized as a baby, your parents promised that they would help you to know and learn about God, and make sure you had a home in a church community as you grew up.  When you are older, there comes a time to decide for yourself if the church is the right place for you.  Confirmation marks the beginning of your life in the church as an adult.


Confirmation will take place this year on Sunday, May 30th.  If you are in Grade 8 or older, you have the option of being confirmed this year.  You will be required to attend a preparatory session with Ken and Alison on Sunday, May 16th from 4-7pm.  


A word about certainty:  expressing interest in the process does NOT mean that you are committing to be confirmed this year!  The purpose of the preparation session is to explore whether confirmation is right for you, right now.  It will be great to have you participate, no matter what your final decision is.
