Genesis 1

In this sermon, Dr. Pekka Sinervo, Chair of the U. of T. Physics department and a practicing Jew, answers the question he is often asked: "How do you square your faith with your science?".

Listen in, as Dr. Sinervo discusses the mysteries of the universe and observes that science does explain many of those mysteries, but it doesn't dictate or guide how human beings live their lives, nor  the choices they make in the hope of leaving this place better than how they found it.  That is an exercise in living by spiritual principles.   An act of faith.  A feat of believing it is possible simply through our actions in spite of what we still don't completely understand about the universe around us.
