The Lawrence Park Community Church Out of the Cold program is currently "on hold" due to COVID 19. We hope to revitalize it in 2021.

Currently we are trying to raise funds to feed the youth currently residing at Eva's Place.
If you are interested in contributing to this program, please send an email to judi@lawrencparkchurch.ca and we will be in touch.

More About Out of the Cold Program

Out of the Cold is a city-wide initiative that works to provide shelter during the winter months to Toronto's homeless population. A group of churches, holy temples, and community centres provide spaces throughout the week between the months of November - March for people to come in and have a meal, a place to sleep, and receive donations of clothing and supplies. This is a volunteer run project that always has a need for more people and funds to continue.

Lawrence Park Community Church organizes and hosts 1 dinner a month at Blythwood Road Baptist Church. Their program runs every Saturday from November to March and greatly relies on the assistance of other churches and community members to keep it running. LPCC donates time and funds to this organization every year. The dinners typically serve approximately 150 people at a time.

If you would like to help us support the Out of the Cold Program at Blythwood Road Baptist Church please contact the church office with your interest. Your time commitment can be completely based on when you are available for the list of dates below, and you can come in for an hour, 2, or the whole evening.

A big thank you goes out to not only our faithful volunteers, but also our community partners who help us by providing delicious and nutritious food and donations. Thank you for your continued support!
