Our next film discussion  is about an epic that touches on themes of the environment, loving our enemies, warfare, and the meaning of heroism. It is an animated film from Japan’s Studio Ghibli. Netflix recently added all of the studio’s films to its collection, and this is arguably the best of all. It is voiced by Patrick Stewart, Uma Thurman and Mark Hamill, among others. It is a smart, deeply spiritual film, which although not Christian, touches on many core Christian values. It is animated, and appropriate for kids ten and up, but it is really aimed at adults.
