 Sunday Service - Communion Sunday
Sunday, November 29nd  at 10:30 a.m.
Via Zoom or Phone
Rev. Dr. John Suk,
and Rev. Stephen Milton

For the first Sunday of Advent  John's wondering "Who's Afraid of Angels?" Not many people, judging by the mostly romantic-even cute-portrayals of angels that we find in much art. They're mostly conventionally "pretty" females in flowing robes. And yet, in the Bible-and three times in today's scripture reading from Luke, angels are nothing if not an excuse to run the other way in terror. John thinks this might be a clue as to the true meaning of Christmas-or if not that, at least the true meaning of our lives. Join us for lighting of the first Christmas wreath candle, for communion (bring your own bread and wine or juice!) and for (what I hope will be!) an interesting message.
