I was born in Toronto to a teacher of all trades/musician and a luthier/musician/mail carrier for Canada Post. I grew up surrounded by music, nature, the arts, and was encouraged to explore faith and spirituality through the mediums! This was all exposed to me both in Toronto, with my family in South Texas, and through trips across the border into northern Mexico. I attended Birch Cliff Public School in Scarborough from K-8 and was fortunate enough to attend Rosedale School of the Arts for my secondary studies in which I look a liking to sculpture and creative writing. In 2014, my final year at Rosedale, I joined Indigo as a customer experience rep for both the company and its Canadian launch of American Girl dolls. I quickly found that visual merchandising in the Kids section and American Girl was the natural route to harness my creative skills and eye for customer needs. Between all of this I make time to perform and write with multiple music groups, craft my own tunes, listen to everything from Dusty Springfield to Sun Ra to various opera, fiddle with my bass guitar, and am the indentured servant to my two cats, Teddy Bear and Twinkle Toes.
