 Sunday Service
Sunday, November 1st at 10:30 a.m.
Via Zoom or Phone
Dr. John Suk
This Sunday,  you will not offer to God a sacrifice that cost you nothing. When we worship, we are not going just to be entertained. We are offering something that costs. And that is good in our consumer society. Worship is for each other and God, not just there to make us happy.
Returning Back to the Church Building - Message from Rev. Stephen Milton

We are still waiting for our new equipment to come in, which will fix our current live streaming challenges. Until that time, you should stay home and watch from there. If we can open up to congregants, it will be sometime in October, pending new government rules about public gatherings. Stay safe, wash your hands, wear your mask and we hope to see you...online or in person soon.

Message from John Suk

Covid and the Staff. I'd like to thank members of the church for being patient about our inability to meet at the building, on Sundays. And for being kind to staff members when it comes to the demands placed on them. And I'd like to thank you all for your continued moral, spiritual-and financial!-support during these strange times.
I've spoken with a few friends in other congregations, and watched their services on line. Everyone is doing the best they can with technology that requires a steep learning curve and a medium-often Zoom-where the unwritten rules for effective communication are also difficult to fathom, sometimes.
In that context, I think our staff is doing an amazing job. It's all hands on deck Sunday mornings, all of us behind or before cameras after a long week of laying out the plan for the service and preparing the many individual elements. Most staff are working "weird" hours to accommodate evening Zoom meetings and last minute demands. The LPCC staff-everyone-is doing an excellent job. And as often as you bump into them, you've been saying so. Keep it up! And thanks.
