Twelve Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson
Join John as he thinks aloud with Jordan Peterson and how his advice relates to spiritual people.
Beginning July 1, Dr. John Suk will preach sermons exploring each of the twelve rules for life that Jordan Peterson is now famous for. Peterson is, of course, a famous Canadian, a prof at U of T, a participant in May’s Monk debate about this book, and an internet and television darling. On the face of it, his rules make eminent sense. On the other hand, like many proverbs and truisms, they are more complicated and controversial than they seem. The rules are wide ranging and are great fodder for discussion and rumination about the big themes of life: morality, purpose, relationships, and so on.
The first sermon will be July 1 on this rule: “Stand up straight with your shoulders back.” Watch John's video for his thoughts on this first rule.
