Police Chief Letter Writing Campaign

The North Toronto Cluster Churches has started a writing campaign to share our views about the kind of police chief who needs to be hired to ensure a better future for our city. As numerous government reports have revealed, including the recent Ontario Human Rights Commission Report, Toronto police culture is problematic. Specifically, the police need to do a better job addressing the needs of local communities, racialized individuals, and people experiencing mental health crises.   

Here is the list of City Councillors that the letter should be sent to and a sample letter is attached in the above document. Please consider joining this campaign to help guide this process for the best Toronto we can be.
