Attention Students, Parents, and Grandparents

We are thrilled to introduce you to an exciting new program at our church, Cyber-Seniors. This initiative is set to create wonderful opportunities for both older adults and tech-savvy students within our community. We believe that Cyber-Seniors is not just a program; it's a bridge between generations, a chance for students to give back, and a path for seniors to embrace the digital age.

What is Cyber-Seniors? Cyber-Seniors is all about providing FREE technology support and training for older adults, powered by our dedicated student volunteers. It's a platform where students from grades 7 to 12, with varying levels of tech expertise, come together to help seniors gain confidence and proficiency in navigating their devices – be it laptops, tablets, or phones. This program offers countless benefits, and here are the details:

Volunteer Hours: are documented, and digital badges and certificates are awarded. Students develop valuable work skills that give them a leg up when applying for a job or post-secondary school programs.

When? The program is scheduled to run from Wednesday, November 1st to December 6th, making it a seven-week journey of discovery.

Time and Frequency? If you are a senior and would like to take part in this program, please email Judi at and you will be scheduled in.

Number of Students? We anticipate having up to 10 or more students actively participating, ensuring seniors receive personalized attention.

Where? Currently, the program is onsite at our church, specifically in the Bradford Room. However, we are flexible and open to offering online options if required, depending on the COVID-19 situation. Your safety and comfort are our priorities.
