Out of the Cold at Blythwood Road Baptist Church

Out of the Cold is a city-wide initiative that provides warmth, meals, and support to Toronto’s unhoused and vulnerable populations during the winter months. A network of churches, synagogues, and community centres across the city open their doors from November through April, offering meals, clothing, and essential supplies.

Lawrence Park Community Church (LPCC) partners with Blythwood Road Baptist Church to help operate their weekly Out of the Cold program. The 2025–2026 season runs every Saturday from November 1, 2025, to April 25, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Trinity Square (Holy Trinity Church), 19 Trinity Square, Toronto (map link).

Guests are welcomed with hot, nutritious meals, fresh fruit, and home-baked goods, along with access to clothing, accessories, and toiletries. The program serves approximately 150 guests each week, and relies heavily on volunteers and community support to keep it running.
